Welcome to this months new letter... **Florence Jam** We had a good jam at The Florence this month, just uploaded a batch of photos to Facebook. http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=2032077&id=1235756803&l=3fd69d8c4a You should be able to view then without joining facebook, but if you allready a member feel free to "make freinds" whilst you there.... Next Jam is on Sunday August 2nd **Drift Bar Video Clip** Here is a link to a short video of last weeks gig at Drift Bar, Palmeston Road, Southsea. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=L2TyMlXJ3oQ It's a section of my version of Walking Blues originaly by Son House. The gig at Drift takes place every Monday, and features myself with various guests, this week I had John Roux join me on tenor dobro (an original instrument that he had restored, looks and sounds great). Next week Tim Nowells new outfit "The Roadrunners" will be coming down for to play a set. Music starts at Nine then we bop till we drop (bar shuts at 1.00am) **Gig List** Here the run down on this months gigs. Friday 10th July The Square And Compass- Worth Matravers - Near Swannage Andy Broad Original Acoustic Blues This gig is alway fantastic, and well worth the journey! Come down and see me at one of the best pubs in the country. Saturday 11th July The New Inn - Littlehampton Burnt Ice Raw, Funky, Contemporary Blues Another great gig, worth driving too! Monday 13th July Drift Bar, Palemeston Road Andy Broad, plus special Guests The Road Runners Thursday 16th July The R.M.A. Tavern, Cromwell Road, Eastney The Sally Strawberry Revue, A Unique blend of Acoustic Blues and French Jazz influenced original material, featuring the fabulous Sally Strawberry on Vocals, Mags Wylie on bass, and Andy Broad on acoustic guitar.
