The Jigantics - live at The R.M.A. on 13th October!

The Jigantics (featuring Mark Cole, Rick Edwards and Ade Deane from the fabulous Sons
Of The Delta, and Martin Fitzgibbon and Marion Fleetwood from award-winning ColvinQuarmby) are at The Gun Room @ The RMA Tavern Saturday 13th October.

You've seen The Jigantics, and Colvin Quarmby and Sons of The Delta at Southsea Folk & Roots Festival, and you KNOW how good they are! The Jigantics are a genre defying mix of folk roots, blues, bluegrass, country, and then some….

This gig is promoted by our good friend Ken Brown, and if The Barking Spider wasn't on tour with The Former Members "Monterey Frestival 1967 Revisited" ( in Presteigne, Wales that night) you can be sure he'd BE there!

SO.... don't forget.... THE JIGANTICS - Saturday 13th October at The Gun Room @ The RMA Tavern, 58 Cromwell Road, Eastney. PO4 9PN.

Doors are at 7pm. Tickets are £8 in advance, from the Box Office: 02392 382888 or securely online at www.wegottickets.com/event/165175

Or take your chances and pay £9 on the door.

Favourites from the Southsea Folk, Roots and Blues festival in 2011,
The Jigantics formed following a succession of European gigs where it
was proved that when it comes to pleasing a crowd, no language barriers
exist.

From the outset, The Jigantics wanted to blend musical genres to
reflect their own diverse interests, but within the framework of their
shared passion for New Folk Music. The result is a potent mix, drawing
inspiration from folk music of different continents and cultures,
overwhelmingly upbeat and powerful but with enough light and shade to
ensure that “having a good time” involves mixing all the emotions that
passionate, well crafted and thoughtful songs provoke.

With a line up that features members of ColvinQuarmby and Sons Of The
Delta, a good time is indeed guaranteed!
