More about the band:

Crow Black Chicken

Irelands Number 1 Blues Rock Band.

CROW BLACK CHICKEN originate from the south of Ireland, andhave gigged
extensively across their home country, playing top venues and festivals.
They've also played at The Glastonbury Festival.

Formed in 2009, they released their début album "Electric Soup" in 2012.
Their second album "Rumble Shake" came out in June 2014 - and entered the
Irish Albums Chart at number 12 in its first week of being released.

A classic 3 piece band, they feature Christy O'Hanlon -- (lead vocals,
guitar), Stephen McGrath -- (bass) and Gev Barrett - (drums, percussion, &
vocals). Christy's voice is so powerful and gravelly that you could lay a
road with it, while his slide guitar playing is nothing less than superb..
Stephen keeps the bass driving the songs, often inter-playing dynamic
harmonic structures to Christy's guitar playing.

The band toured with blues legend Ray Wylie Hubbard throughout Texas last
year and will be returning to the U.S.A in 2015.

Apart from their own excellent blues numbers expect some classic overs -
including fellow Cork man Rory Gallagher's "Messin' with the Kid"

Here they are at Crane Lane Theatre, in Cork, where J.R saw them - and was
totally blown away and booked them for The Bullfrog on the spot!
