Bullfrog Blues Club is very excited to welcome the sensational rock and
blues band Brave Rival to Southsea on Thursday 7th July for the first
time.
Tickets are just £9.00 adv or £10.00 on the door. Get them from out online

Brave Rival - 2022 UK Blues Award finalists - are in great demand -
they're playing this year's Isle of Wight Festival, and future
appearances also include Cleethorpes Blues Rhythm & Rock Festival, Uckfield
Blues and Roots Festival and The Great British Blues Festival in Colne.
I'm proud to say Brave Rival are from Portsmouth, so what better place to
see them than The Bullfrog Blues Club - Portsmouth's oldest established
blues club - 22 years and still going strong!
Although Brave Rival's influences include John Mayer, Larkin Poe, Beth
Hart, Fleetwood Mac, Led Zeppelin, The Alabama Shakes, Heart, and Tedeschi
Trucks, Brave Rival offer a style and sound that you've always known, and
yet somehow never heard before....Brave Rival feature the powerful twin
vocals of Chloe Josephine and Lindsey Bonnick. On lead guitar, providing
dramatic guitar solos and crunching rock riffs is Ed "The Shred" Clarke.
And holding it all together is the rhythmic backbone, Billy Dedman (bass)
and Donna Peters (drums) .
They've just released their first album "Life's Machine", and their live
performances have garnered there have been rave reviews ...
"..a great mix of style and harmony...poetry in motion...absolutely superb.

Frankie & Glo (Frankie Lewis & Gloria Miller), are doing an opening set!
Gloria is from Chicago with an eclectic taste in music, and the duo
present their own exciting brand of acoustic soul playing originals, and
little-known covers.
They've performed at some of the top UK venues and events, including Pizza
Express Live in Soho, The Theatre Royal in Windsor, and in Portsmouth The
Kings Theatre, Victorious Festival, and The Icebreaker Festival. This year
- like Brave Rival- they're playing The Isle of Wight Festival.
